It Is Really This Simple

What is God’s will for my life is a refrain that has played in our minds more than once. We hear from the pulpit that we are to pursue God’s will for our lives, because by doing so we find real peace. So the question haunts us until we one day discover that we are God’s will. Every now the eternal manifests in our lives is God’s will for our lives. Every thought, every desire, every want, every action, everything that compound our human fabric is included in God’s will. How can we be sure about this? Paul wrote about Jesus: “….but the life that He lives, He lives to God.” The One who lives in us now and who is our life lives to God, that is, He is always in God’s will and consequently so are we. It is really this simple.

Considering the God of the Universe is ALIVE in US….how could we not be in God’s will? Sure the outside sometimes looks nasty, but so does my car…the insides run like they were created to…God looks at the heart and since he has renewed it Himself…I’m pretty sure he’s done a great job…
