Mark 11:24 and the Faith Rest-Life (A Dialogue)

Ole Henrik: Mark 11:24 is definitely a call to faith, that is, to trust ourselves as safe sons who are in concord with God in all things and this trust in God (that He in fact lives as us) and this trust in ourselves as expressions of Him in the vine-branch relationship is expressed by us through our bold prayers and words of faith in accordance with Jesus’ words in this passage. We are after all vessels of honor in Christ cleansed from contaminating and corrupting influences (2 Tim 2:21).

As you so well know: It blows some very strong winds on the “It is done level”, and even though the wind now and then forces us to find shelter (doubt/negative believing) the faith of the Son nudges us towards the mountaintop again.

Nancy: I need to say without a lot of explanation I cannot say I agree with your REASONING here. I must say, (and I don’t think it’s a matter of semantics), my living reality is that I am never trusting IN myself.  Christ IS my inner-Christ-consciousness, and I am always and ONLY trusting the Christ-Self in “the self-Nancy”.  Although Christ can be me, I never become Christ. We are forever two spirit-Spirit persons joined together in a union of spirit-Spirit knowing, but we are not the same quality; one is The CREATOR , the other is the creation. We forever remain as we are.  I ‘see Christ’ living as me, with no separation, but I am not LOOKING “at” me in the sense that I am “seeing” me as the one in operation; or in the sense that I become Christ. Yet I cannot separate us.  I am forever in the foreground, but that is not who I’m seeing doing the living as me.  In reality, I am more or less “unconscious of me” seeing Christ as me. Christ IS my inner-consciousness; and I am more conscious of Christ being my life and doing the living than I am conscious of me.  He is the One I am forever looking AT. . . i.e. seeing as the real. The weight is ON Him.  This foreground-‘self-Nancy is not my inner-consciousness as to who I am seeing, but is an-outer-consciousness of WHO I really am a form of.  I know this IS the thick stuff that we keep pounding out, but I have to keep saying it for the right balance in our union. Christ is raised in me from the dead; I am forever raised in Him… yet we remain two (as one).  He raised me from the dead, I did not raise Him. Yet I am forever raised in Him with Him as me.  THICK STUFF!!!!

Ole Henrik: This makes life even easier really. I just have to trust the whole package as Him living as me in all things!

Nancy: Absolutely! It’s a faith-REST-life!

Ole Henrik: I believe I had a further expansion of my awareness after your latest mail. I see that Christ as me always lives on the done level, and consequently so do I. I don’t blow off the done level. It just feels like that, but it has no substance that feeling. So by the faith of the Son I always live on the done level. No kidding around no more and to hell with analyzing. He is everything! Mark 11:24 is indeed a great promise because it is Christ as me praying those prayers that ALWAYS will be answered in accordance with that verse. And God always hears the Son! Amen!!!

Nancy replied to the one above by inserting her responses in bold: I believe I had a further expansion of my awareness after your latest mail. I see that Christ as me always lives on the done level,  Always! Always! Always! and consequently do I. AMEN! I don’t blow off the done level. It just feels like that, but it has no substance that feeling. So by the faith of the Son I always live on the done level. No kidding around no more and to hell with analyzing. Hallelujah! great ball of fire! AMEN! He is everything! Mark 11:24 is indeed a great promise because it is Christ as me praying those prayers that ALWAYS will be answered in accordance with that verse. And God always hears the Son! Amen!!!  U GOT IT!

Ole Henrik: Freakin’ Goosebumps!!!!!

Nancy: You LEAPED reasoning when you said the hell with analyzing! THAT IS FAITH!

Should be:

Mark 11:24 is definitely a call to faith, that is, believe that the Son is praying as us in accordance with His own word demonstrating that He is our faith and that without Him we can do nothing. We trust Him as He chooses to express Himself by our prayers which we can pray with confidence and boldness trusting that the Father always hears the Son. We are vessels of honor in Christ cleansed from contaminating and corrupting influences (2 Tim 2:21). We are fountains sending forth sweet water (James 3:11).

Nancy: This all must be the “Genius You”. . .The actual way God has created you as a person. To my knowledge I do not go through what you go through. That would wear me out!

When I hear or see something in the Spirit; such as the truth of Mark 11:24,  I accept that word as “fact” revealed in me; which is of course “the faith of Christ” showing me this. OR I could say; The Holy Spirit showed this to me.  For sure it didn’t come from me.  But it’s a dawning in me,  a revelation-understanding in taking and receiving.  I see THIS REALITY IS MINE TO USE.   I see it as revelation-know-how.  However this inner-seeing-dawning-revelation comes about . . . – it is STILL ALL the Spirit’s job to remind me when and how to take advantage of what He’s revealed in me.  I am always totally dependent on Him; NOT in a ‘needy-way’ such as I don’t have all, but in a relational-ship way.  I have a relationship with Christ in The HOLY SPIRIT. . .- and it’s always in a give & take relational-ship.

Now it’s not what comes to us, but how we take it. . . and when I hear you say,  “it’s definitely a call to faith” … I personally relate, “what’s that mean?”  How am I to interpret that? As law? Or as a “law of faith”.   I can’t say that I know what a “call to faith” is. Here’s the way- “I take it”.  It sounds (to me) like I am an independent and it’s something I have to do.  When in fact my entire life is a life of faith; the life I now live in the flesh is lived by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me, and I do not frustrate the grace of God; for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
